The Good Wood Band At Whiskey Jax

Last night was a good night down at Whiskey Jax at Jax Beaches. The weather was great and the air smelled festive of Memorial Day shenanigans. Family, friends, and fans all gathered under one roof Saturday night to enjoy the great tunes of The Good Wood Band. A blend of original songs and favorites, Jacksonville's finest family blues jam band had people dancing all evening.



Smiles and good energies were flowing within the walls of Whiskey Jax in Jax Beach Saturday night. The Good Wood Band provided the soul and blues that kept everyone wanting to dance the night away. The crowd couldn't get enough they cheered for two encore's and The Good Wood Band delivered with all their heart and soul.

The Good Wood Band a band built on the love of family and the love of good music. Jim Herrington, Good Wood's


frontman brings the lyrical art that speaks to your soul. Jimmy Herrington, makes your booty want to rock with a hearty bass guitar sound.


Wesley Herrington and Benjamin Herrington bring lead guitar greatness that we all love, like none other in music. Alan Lecompte the man of percussion that entice your inner free spirit.


Garth Solberg carrying the bluesy beat with perfection behind the drums. Don Whitter, the man behind the soulful Saxophone and divine flute playing that bring this jam band to a whole new level.


Last night, the band was accompanied by Owen a young but talented guest lead guitarist. Also, the gorgeous rock n' roll goddess Nadine brought her vocal talents to the show too.
